Get your Master’s in Sport Sciences from Finland! Apply 15 Nov 2017 - 10 Jan 2018!

The University of Jyväskylä is one of the largest and most popular multidisciplinary universities in Finland. We welcome You to apply for the 2-year tuition-free (EU/EEA citizens*) international Master’s programmes, which lead to an officially recognized Master’s degree and qualify for doctoral studies.

*	 <https://opiskelu.jyu.fi/en/apply/programmes/masterbpa> Master's Degree Programme in Biology of Physical Activity (120 ECTS) offers three possible fields of specialisation: biomechanics, exercise physiology or the science of sport coaching and fitness testing. Programme graduates are qualified to work in expert position at sport and fitness centres and academies, research institutes, medical rehabilitation centres, sports organizations, wellness companies etc. 
*	 <https://opiskelu.jyu.fi/en/apply/programmes/sportpro> Master’s Degree Programme in Sport and Exercise Promotion (120 ECTS) provides both research and practice oriented master’s level education for future experts in the field of social and behavioural sciences of sport with two optional areas of specialisation: sport management or sport psychology. In sport management this master’s programme qualifies graduates to enter the working life, specialising e.g. in sport development and other expertise positions in public, voluntary and private sectors. Graduates from sport psychology will be employed in the private and public sectors as, for example, psychological health and well-being consultants, performance enhancement consultants, or academic researchers in sport and exercise psychology.

The Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, unique in Finland, offers two state-of-the-art programmes in the field of Sport Sciences. Our programmes are conducted in English, and they combine theory and practice so that students develop practical, analytical, and research skills for their future careers.

The next application period begins on 15 November 2017. The studies will begin in autumn 2018. Students of any nationality with a relevant Bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.
