Dear Colleagues,
We are planning to submit a COST action proposal that will aim to bring
together the scientists working on and/or interested in the use of Bayesian
Latent Class Models for the evaluation of diagnostic tests and the
estimation of the true disease prevalence.
I am sure you are familiar with COST actions (if not please visit
<http://www.cost.eu/about_cost> http://www.cost.eu/about_cost). COST is an
EU-funded program that enables researchers to set up their interdisciplinary
research networks in Europe and beyond. It provides funding for organizing
conferences, meetings, training schools, short scientific exchanges or other
networking activities. It is the longest-running European framework
supporting trans-national cooperation among researchers, engineers and
scholars across Europe. Next call for proposals ends on 29 November 2019.
I am writing to explore your interest to participate in such an action.
Further, I would like to ask if you would like to be in the core team that
will help writing the proposal and manage the project.
Cheers,
Polychronis
