[Polychronis KOSTOULAS]

  Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to introduce the LCMATE Newsletter. This is a biannual,
non-peer-reviewed publication, which will be available to the members of
this list and can, of course, be freely disseminated to relevant sites and
groups of interested researchers. The Newsletter will contain brief reports
on everything (i.e. research, initiatives, applications, workshops and
courses) relating to the use of latent class models in the evaluation of
diagnostic tests. Finally, the Newsletter will also give citations and
abstracts of recently published relevant articles.

Please send directly to me (pkost at vet.uth.gr) your contributions for the
first LCMATE Newsletter (including any recent publications that should be
cited), _BY THE 5TH OF JUNE_.
